My Photo

An obsession, have to have it, definitely want to live there! A gal who spends way too many lunch hours at Anthropologie--browsing, making my wish list, inspired, charmed, teased, of course I have to leave with something.. anything! Ahhh..now I can go back to work, I've had my fix.

Turkish medallions....

YES, this is my new favorite bedding (wish list). It's the Constantinople by John Robshaw.

Just beautiful!!!!

Wednesday........... hi there!

Banned from shopping

Ok so it's a self imposed ban, but still making me rather cranky if I may say.

I had to do it. And I already know that I'm not strong enough to 'just look around'.

I've tried and failed too many times to count. So I almost, don't know what to do with myself at lunchtime.
So window shopping online is as close as I can get right now.

EDIT: I just had to add, this is more like 'cutting back'. I'm a bit dramatic, because it feels that way. But obviously I still have to get gifts and all those other things. Just cutting back on me! : )

Frest Cut Bathmat

I've never had a round bathmat, but I think I want one! Especially this one!
Anthropologie-- $48.

News: Terrain

From Retailwire.com
"Urban Outfitters Inc. last week announced plans to buy J. Franklin Styer Nurseries Inc., a well-known operator of garden centers in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The acquisition will drive the launch of the company’s newest green concept, Terrain.
The goal of Terrain is “to transform the local garden center into an experience that celebrates the beauty and abundance of nature while offering an eclectic mix of garden-inspired products tailored for the contemporary customer,” according to a company press release.
What makes the purchase interesting is not only Urban’s launching of a new concept, but its decision to expand beyond retail into a service business. Besides selling mulch, silk orchids, garden books and tools in a comfortable atmosphere that includes a leather sofa and a coffee bar serving upscale La Colombe coffee, Terrain will offer landscape design and construction"

We want the scoop on Anthro Music

So let's talk music for a moment....
Specifically, the amazing tunes that you hear while strolling through Anthropologie.

A fellow reader and fan, Sarah, is dying to know about the music that plays in the stores.

She was told that they 'pipe in the music via satelite from home office in Philly.'
I didn't know this. Is that true? Can anyone tell us?
Do they share the playlist, details, etc?

Comment if you can share with us : )

Papierkunst

Because if you are going to Journal in something, best make sure it's damn beautiful!!!!

These Papierkunst Journals are designed by Claire Coles for ANTHROPOLOGIE.

Castle Grounds Towels

Pink towels I would love to have!
Washcloth $4.
Handtowel $14.
Bathtowel $24.

Cardigan anyone?

This coxswain cardigan looks so average by itself on the 'dummy'. But I love it on the model with the white shirt and blue jeans. What a difference!

Hello Thursday!

Cool shot!

Anthro knobs

'The smartest fish' (flickr) repainted this old garage-find dresser and added some beautiful pink knobs from Anthro. Great job, looks wonderful!

Breakfast & Anthropologie

This post is really about this wonderful breakfast idea but since it includes a picture of the lovely Anthro owl, it's perfectly fitting!!! I am definitely going to try this one weekend!!! How cute!

Let me know if you will too!

From: j_boogie (flickr) says

"Egg in a heart, with pineapple salsa and flax seeds.I haven't made this in awhile and was reminded when I saw this photo by Charlie. its probably one of my favorite ways to have eggs -- because not only does it look cute, its super good! the bread tastes delicious when dipped in the gooey yolk ;Directions:So basically you have a piece of bread, cut a hole/heart/whatever shape you like in the middle. spread some butter on both sides and rub it around the pan to oil the pan too. let the pan warm up a little, and crack the egg into the hole when its hot. cook the egg for awhile before flipping so you don't break the yolk. after cooking the othe side, flip it back and serve onto plate. sprinkle some salt/peper/flax seeds if you'd like. and I added some Trader Joes pineapple salsa too for a nice kick :) "

Blogging

I know I haven't been here alot lately, especially to kick off the New Year. I feel a tad guilty.

I'm going to try to make time for more frequent posts, starting today!

If I could kick up my feet up in this Cotswold chair, I would be in heaven. Love the worn bourbon leather!!!

Ginger and Pickles

well that's the name of this lovely bag at Anthropologie, Ginger and pickles shopper.

I haven't seen it in person, but I can tell I would love it. Soft leather bags that conform to your body are so comfy.

This one is $228.

Must have...

Flower Bed Sleep pants

these PJ's will be mine. They remind me of Amy Butler's lounge pants that are gorgeous. But I am no where ready to start making my own. One day soon!
